Be transported back in the time of bathtub gin, sultry ladies, red hot jazz and gypsy swing... Fronted by Svetlana Shmulyian, "jazz experimentalist" (Broadway World) with "great vocals" (Socially Superlative), this week the band's guests include Adrian Cunningham, the phenomenal clarinet and saxophone player, "a young jazz artist who plays as if he has been playing for over a century" (All About Jazz), and Ilya Lushtak, "the fine guitar soloist" (CD Universe) and vocalist who "[keeps] a steady swing rhythm" (NY TImes) - and "is all rhythm" (NY Sun).
