PROJECT 313 (Blank Code - DETROIT) - 3hr duo live set and NYC debut
Project 313 is the collaboration of Detroit based DJ’s & producers, Chad Parraghi aka CFX and Nick Bien. They each made their debut in the 1990’s and since then have been performing at underground events in North America and Europe. They quickly gained respect for playing a unique style of techno and for the events they held in Kalamazoo, Michigan where the pair met and began their journey into electronic music.
In 2007 they began their collaborative live PA under the newly created alias Project 313. As a live act, Project 313 has shared the stage with techno heavy hitters such as Dan Bell, James Ruskin, Regis, Joel Mull, Ben Sims, Christian Wunsch, Function, Radial, Mark Broom, and Tim Xavier just to name a few. During their sets you can expect to hear a unique blend of dark landscapes and atmospheric explosions on top of real time edits, multiple effects and layered loops that results in a unique aural experience.
Later that year Project 313 along with close friend Corbin Davis combined efforts and created Blank Code. Since then Blank Code has been a regular contributor to the Detroit techno community hosting events including: the “Substance Detroit” event series (a Movement Official after hours), the “Friendly Integration” event series (a collaboration with Detroit Underground) and the most recent “Scene” event series. Currently the crew at Blank Code is focused on launching their record label in 2012, event production, artist management, music production, and hosting a weekly podcast featuring a roster of techno artists from around the globe.
Throughout the years both Chad and Nick have had the opportunity to share the studio with many well known artists gaining valuable knowledge in the production side of electronic music. In 2008 they made their debut on D-records with their original track “Border Patrol” on the Movement 08′ Compilation. In the first half of 2012 they have 2 upcoming remixes on Blank Code Records including the Mutate ‘Circle 2′ remix & The Bodies in Pawn ‘Project 313 edit’ as well as some other projects for their label.
Blank Code:
Blank Code specializes in event promotion, artist management, interactive music sharing with a weekly podcast featuring an International roster of artists. 2012 will reveal Blank Code the Label and new releases and remixes by a host of highly regarded Techno producers.

"Twice as Proper" and their founders:
Twice as Proper is a New York City Based Underground Techno Events organization. Shadi & Craft co-created the movement "Twice as Sweet" which then became "Twice as Proper Sessions". With an impressive over 200 events and 100 guest dj bookings, it is now well established in the NYC underground techno scene. 2012 is the 5th year for the organization, and with quite an illustrious list of guest DJ bookings in venues across Manhattan & Brooklyn, there is always something exciting and different to expect from the events. In 2010, Twice as Proper hosted 8 events in Playa del Carmen (Mexico) during the winter, while keeping regular NYC events alive as always. 2011 was fantastic for the two artists bringing International tours in 5 countries (USA, Italy, Egypt, Mexico, Costa Rica), international radio shows, podcasts, music productions, TV coverage (Italy, Mexico, Costa Rica), TV coverage, soundcloud recordings listened to in over 84 countries, new fans and friends. Craft & Shadi have been a DJ duo since 1994 on those legendary Technics 1200's. Then followed the years of CDJ technology and mixers with effects, always keeping it dark, deep, dirty real serious. They now often perform live mixes with the ultimate Xponent controller, with many built-in live effects. They go on with explosive sets, chopping' up loops and samples, all while in the mix. The result is always "Massive". Craft & Shadi promise to rip it Proper.
No crap.

He taught himself the skill of beat matching and studied the art of blending tracks smoothly to perfection with persistence. He began producing music in 1999 under the name "Craft" or "Craft Music Productions. In 2010, Craft traveled to Europe for his Italy Dj tour to Milan, Rome, and Terracina, then experienced an incredible Costa Rica DJ Tour with Dj Onda Skillet which was covered by much media attention (major radio, TV and internet). About Craft's music production software choices:
13 years producing music since 1999 with originals and remixes released or scheduled on 13 labels in 5 countries.
Craft first began producing in 1999 with programs such as ReBirth (which emulates two Roland TB-303 synthesizers, a Roland TR-808, and a Roland TR-909 drum machine all at once) and Cakewalk for final arrangements. He then used strictly Reason for five years, from its first version launched in 2000 through version 3 when he finally migrated to Apple’s Logic 7 in 2005. Today he continues to use Logic, which has now reached version 9 (aka Logic Pro). Craft taught himself everything and is a true master at using the complicated features of this professional music production software The results are evident with the continuous smashing releases which have now earned him an international reputation, 13 years in the making..
