Startup Leadership Program presents Startup Lessons Learned with Nickhil Jakatdar (CEO/Co-founder of Vuclip) and Gautam Gupta (CEO/Co-founder of NatureBox). Nickhil Jakatdar is a serial entrepreneur and the CEO & co-founder of Vuclip, a mobile video company that allows users to access any video on the Internet and watch it on any video-enabled phone. Gautam Gupta was an investor at General Catalyst and is now the CEO & co-founder of NatureBox, a snack foods company that offers a monthly membership for hand-picked snack food delivered to your door. Nickhil and Gautam will share stories from their own experiences in startups and VC and take audience questions. This event will also be an opportunity to learn more about the Startup Leadership Program, a unique, global entrepreneurship community that’s accepting Fellows into the Silicon Valley chapter this fall. This event is sponsored and hosted by Plug and Play Tech Center, a global accelerator that specializes in growing tech startups. Registration is required. About SLP: The Startup Leadership Program (SLP) is a highly selective, world-class training program for outstanding founders, leaders, and innovators who want to become top startup CEOs. SLP Fellows have founded over 300 successful startups including Duron Energy, Gharpay, ixigo, Innoz, Momelan, Runkeeper, SideTour, Shareaholic, Solar Junction, Ubersense, Savored, Voicetap, and many others, which have collectively raised more than $200MM in funding. Applying to SLP: SLP was founded in 2006 and has graduated 480 Fellows in 12 chapters across the world. Three things matter to us: Education, Networks and your Startup. As an SLP Fellow, you’ll receive training, feedback, and support from Fellows and Mentors as you launch and build your company. You’ll spend sixty hours with us over six months, taking classes led by some of the most exciting entrepreneurs in the Valley, building your leadership skills, and participating with other Fellows in exciting competitions. SLP’s programs are complementary to the many leading incubators you may belong to or consider joining - our Fellows have been accepted into Techstars, DreamIT Ventures, and Excelerate Labs, amongst others. If you want to become part of a highly accomplished and supportive global network of startup founders, apply to join the SLP class of 2013. Session starts on September 1 and lasts for six months.
