Rapid Prototyping with JavaScript
The Rapid Prototyping training is geared towards helping software engineers and others with basic Javascript skills to rapidly build software prototypes with Node.js and MongoDB. You'll walk out with one or a few web applications and the skills to continue developing your own.
Node.js is a platform built on Chrome's JavaScript runtime for easily building fast, scalable network applications. Node.js uses an event-driven, non-blocking I/O model that makes it lightweight and efficient, perfect for data-intensive real-time applications that run across distributed devices.
MongoDB (from "humongous") is a scalable, high-performance, open source NoSQL database, written in C++. MongoDB simplifies application development and is considered one of the most disruptive software technologies.
