As adults, we tend to get lost in the hustle and bustle of life. After a while, we find ourselves holding on to many problems gained through time spent trying to make ends meet. With nowhere to lighten the heavy load, some will take it out on friends, family or even themselves. The point is, we all have baggage. Whether good or bad, it feels good to empty those bags. It feels even better to know that you’re not the only one who may be experiencing the weight of tomorrow. So this is the time to unpack all your bags and let loose.

Baggage at Billy's will take place the 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month. This open mic will allow the surrounding community’s 21+ artists to “leave their baggage at the mic” without holding back. Baggage will focus on the stories of being an adult, such as sex, bills, or that boss that just won’t get off your case. All bags are welcome to the mic. So what kind of baggage are you holding on to?
