Patrick Wheeler, President of TX/RX Labs, and Roland von Kurnatowski III, Secretary at TX/RX Labs, will present at our August Netsquared Meet-up. Â Patrick and Roland will share the story of building TX/RX Labs, what the organization is doing and would like to accomplish, and how you can get involved as a member, mentor, teacher, or supporter.
About the Presenters
Patrick Wheeler
Patrick has always desired to understand and modify the world around him. He takes great joy in teaching others to be able to do the same. Patrick received his B.S. in Physics form the University of Colorado at Boulder, his Masters in physics from Rice University, and is
currently working towards his PhD in Physics at Rice University. In late 2009 Patrick cofounded TX/RX Labs and has continuously helped TX/RX grow as member, director and now as current president.
Roland von Kurnatowski III
Born in New Orleans, Roland has always had a passion for electronics and fabrication. Educated at Rice University, Roland holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Sociology. During his college career Roland worked summers as a welder. After Graduation Roland worked as J2EE Application Developer for JP Morgan Chase for 7 years before founding his own Software and IT Services Corporation. Roland currently serves as the Secretary of TX/RX Labs and has spent the last 1.5 years at the lab learning skills such as Soldering, Electronics Design/Diagnostics, and CNC Operation.
