This Thursday July 12th, as part of the Divisadero Artwalk, Workspace Studios is hosting our second opening showcasing art all from, duh, wood. Were showing off a few new, up & coming interior/ wood designers, artists & makers- all that work with wood, showcasing a mix of art pieces. Besides the art on the walls and under your ass (furniturewe made), we'll be showing off the space which is a wood installation in itself. Here's who is participating:

*Kelly Malone: Workshop/ Workspace. Designer of the Bold
Italic, Shotwell, Gangs of SF. Wood artist & maker
*Katie Gong: Furniture Maker, Resident Designer at
Workspace, Installation artist
*Sean Newport: Co-designer of Engine Works, Artist, Slayer

*Jon Carr: Designer of San Franpsycho, Artist, Furniture Maker

Add in a pop up bar by The Secret Hooch Society, beers from Speakeasy and a Fried Chicken & waffle pop up by Angry Man Eats. Good times y'all.

We plan on hosting these alternative art openings that focus more on design every other month to showcase different folks and themes. Next up:

*August- Toolshop Happy Hour: Launch of our full run of
Toolshop classes & preview of all the samples of what you
can make.
*September- Garden Party: Launch of our new gardening
and succulent classes, as well as a terrarium show in our new
garden.
*October- a show all about lighting with 5 different designers.
*December- a pop up shop showcasing all our in house
