Local - any age - March, strathspey and reel 1st £40, 2nd £30, 3rd £20 and 4th £20. Without music preferred.
16 & over Chieftain's Fiddler - slow air, march, strathspey and reel, 1st £100, 2nd £75, 3rd £50 and 4th £35. NO MUSIC ALLOWED.
Competitors will get their entry fee for the Aboyne Highland Games reimbursed at the secretary's tent.
If competiing in both local and junior/senior you must play different tunes in each competition.
Entries accepted on the day of the competition but gratefully accepted beforehand.
If possible competitors should wear kilt or be dressed smartly for the competition.
Local rules - Competitors for the local prizes must be either natives or residents of one year's standing (at the date of the current Games) in the post codes of AB31, AB33, AB34, AB35 and AB36.
The adjudicators' decision will be final.
