The 2012 SHOWCASE EVENTS will take place across the city of Austin in celebration of the local talent and fashion industry. The Austin Fashion Week Advisory Board has selected ten Austin “Showcase Designers” who will be paired with participating boutique, salon and spa locations. The “Showcase Designers” will set up pop-up shops and together with their paired venue will host events ranging from trunk shows to full blown runways, cocktail parties to concerts.

In addition, dozens of other participating retailers and designers will host their own official Austin Fashion Week events. Nights are designated by district, however retailers and salons not located in these areas will have events across all four days.

Saturday, August 11: 2ND Street District
Sunday, August 12: Barton Creek Mall
Monday, August 13: Hill Country Galleria
Tuesday, August 14: The Domain

Most Austin Fashion Week Showcase Events are free and open to the public and press. Media credentials are not required.
