The Hacks/Hackers mission is to create a network of journalists (“hacks”) and technologists (“hackers”) who rethink the future of news and information and bridge the gap between tech and media. It's for hackers exploring technologies to filter and visualize information, and for hacks who use technology to find and tell stories. In the age of information overload, this work has become even more crucial. With more than 10,000 members across four continents (and counting) Hacks/Hackers is a global movement to reboot journalism. And now, it's coming to Sydney.
