Speaker Bios:
Roger Royse has practiced tax and corporate law since 1984. Roger is the founder of Royse Law Firm, PC, a business and tax law firm with offices in Northern and Southern California (www.rroyselaw.com). Roger is widely published on technical tax topics, is a regular speaker for the California CPA Education Foundation and has been an adjunct Professor of Taxation (Property Transactions and International Taxation) for Golden Gate University.
Jason Crowley is a founding partner at Divorce Capital Planning, LLC, which specializes in divorce financial planning and analysis for high-asset dissolutions. He provides guidance, education, support and analysis on complex financial issues to help clients navigate the transition of divorce. Jason is a Certified Financial Planner, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, and Level III candidate for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics and Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Hal Friedman was a Director with Greenstein, Rogoff, Olsen & Co., LLP, a regional CPA firm, for 16 years prior to becoming a Partner in 2007. For the past 30 years, Hal has been working as a tax professional and lawyer serving the greater Palo Alto area. His practice experience spans all areas of taxation including closely held corporations and their shareholders, individuals, expatriates and nonresident aliens, and professional practices. Hal holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Pennsylvania State University and a Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School.
