ANNA ROSE | Australian Youth Climate Coalition
Anna Rose is co-founder and Chair of the Australian Youth Climate Coalition, a movement of over 80,000 young people working to solve climate change before itâs too late. She is the former Environment Minister's joint Young Environmentalist of the Year and a Fellow of the International Youth Foundation.
In 2011 Anna received a Churchill fellowship to research youth peer-to-peer climate education. The Sydney Morning Herald named her one of Sydneyâs most influential people (in 2009) and one of the top five most powerful grassroots organisers in NSW (in 2011). She has just released her first book, Madlands: A Journey to Change the Mind of a Climate Sceptic.
ANDREW VALDER & DARRYL NICHOLS | Garage Sale Trail
Andrew Valder has lead a varied career orbiting various planets in the entertainment universe and more recently the social enterprise space. In his early career he had a wild ride in the music business doing A&R and then establishing the now famous Open Air Cinema in Sydney Harbour. That was followed by the world of music TV as Marketing Director for Foxtel's music channels Channel V, Max and Club V. More recently Andrew co-founded national sustainability, community and fund raising program Garage Sale Trail. Having won awards here and internationally Andrew never ceases to be amazed that he spends his time talking about Garage Sales and is dedicated to building the program here and overseas.
Andrew is an avid fan of pop culture and politics and believes in inspiring people to make positive change in a way that works for them.
Darryl is co-founder of the Garage Sale Trail â
