Entries for the first one (July 21st) are closed now but we’re still accepting entries for a possible second round on August 25th - email queso@mohawkaustin.com to sign up! You’ll get to sample queso made by defending champs (Thomas Lombardi / Veggie & Frank / Meaty); other restaurants already signed up include Papi Tino’s, Kerbey Lane, Bacon, Red’s Porch, and Cuatro’s. The competition is open to everyone - the queso champion receives two tickets to this year’s Fun Fun Fun Fest! A big thank you to CultureMap Austin for helping spread the word!

Judges:

An elite group of cheese aficionados and brie sommeliers from Austin, Texas will show their faces for the first time ever, in honor of this historical moment in cheese. Drumroll, please -
