Amber Landis, a colleague and dear friend will be leaving us next week to head back to Grand Rapids Michigan. Help us both say adieu to Amber and help her raise money for the American Brain Tumor Association.
Last month Amber’s father Forrest Landis was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme, a deadly form of brain cancer, the same cancer that took the life of the late Senator Edward Kennedy. Amber is heading home to be with her family and help her father continue to fight and beat back the cancer.
Amber has touched the lives of so many with her passion, love and veracity for life and has contributed so much in her tenure as a government affairs’ executive in Washington, DC. Now we invite you to wish Amber well and help her and others to put an end to this terrible disease with a farewell party and fundraiser at St. Arnold's Mussel Bar in Cleveland Park next Tuesday evening.
We are asking for a donation of $30.00 a head with proceeds going to the American Brain Tumor Association.
If you are unable to attend but would still like to make a donation, we welcome you to support Amber's team in the American Brain Tumor Association Chicago Half Marathon Sunday.
