What is the Soap Project?

SOAP is an Outreach that aims to distribute thousands of bars of soap with the National Human Trafficking Hotline number and key identifying questions FREE to local motels. Volunteers talk to motel owners and managers and provide them with a quick overview of what is happening to young girls in their hotels.

Events that bring alot of people to a city drive up the Demand for Sex for sale. Pimps/Traffickers will be bussing girls-- victims-- into Tampa, Florida and surrounding areas to meet this demand and make money during the Republican National Convention.

Help get labeled SOAP into the motels prior to the event to save these girls from a horrific life and give them an option out.
Please note: soap is distributed PRIOR to the event so that we can ensure the soap is IN the room when the girls are coming to town. This is a TWO day event due to the large amount of hotels and extensive area we want to cover. You may register for one or both days. If you attend both days, you do not need to attend the training on the second day
Outreach is open to anyone 18 years or older.
The training and labeling of the soap is appropriate for youth 13 yrs and older (but they cannot go out to the motels for security reasons)
