If you are ready to be selfless read on:
Each morning we are all blessed with the gift of a new day. Not everybody has that chance. In fact: some people think about giving that chance away because of the cruelty and hate they are subjected to everyday.
Some of you you are here now simply because this event was a click away. The same click away where you can now view video examples of bullying. Please dont be that person to sit behind your computer and expect the world to change by clicking, ranting, and raving.
Today is the day I am asking you to STAND UP and do something about it. I am challenging you to thirty days and six tasks starting August 1st, 2012. Details of this challenge will be posted within the next couple of weeks.
ANYONE can do this. ANY age group, ANY location. This will NEVER cost you a dime. This is NOT a scam. This is REALITY and I know that together we can make an impact. INVITE your friends in to this challenge. INVITE your family. INVITE that person you arent particularly fond of because I GUARANTEE you by the end of this challenge, youll be glad you did.
I will leave you all with this... a very wise man once said to me:
"sometimes when you stand for what's right, you stand alone."
Youre not alone. Even if you are a complete stranger to me, you will never be alone in this. Lets make a change <3
xoxo

1. Challenge NUMBER ONE is as follows & will take place from now up through the end of August: SHARE & INVITE people to this event. Everyday I see the video links that display the recent images of America and they arent very pretty. Even if you get one person to join due to one share/invite, this one person can really make a difference. Share your favorite inspirational quote along with the shared event! YOU are now a motivator!
2. Challenge NUMBER TWO is as follows: Over the month of August a necessary evil will occur... the NEED to stop by walmart! :) 9 times out of ten there is an elderly person or single mother who could really use your assistance and an extra hand loading groceries into their car. PLEASE take the time out of your day to help them. Im sure it would mean the world to them and completely make their day that someone could be so kind. Lets show the world that AMERICA DOES value its elderly and others who may need our help.
3. Challenge NUMBER THREE is as follows: Due to the economy, there are more and more children being subjected to complete tragedy and overall stress. Some of these children are now wards of the state because they were mentally, physically, sexually, and emotionally abused. I know we all have that one stuffed animal hanging out in the attic somehwere or in the spare room that no one uses so please attach a note to this stuffed animal containing an inspirational quote or attach a journal to it and send it to your local police department for traumatized children.
4. Challenge NUMBER FOUR is as follows: There are tons of children within the community who do not have access to books because of financial reasons or maybe because their family does not value education. Please donate some used books to the library. This is a great way for children to enjoy these books for free because anyone can sign up for a library card. OPTIONAL: in the very back of the book, you can write an inspirational quote or simply just "pay it forward".
5. Challenge NUMBER FIVE is as follows: Out with the old, in with the new! We all have that part of our wardrobe that is barely worn, some even with the tag still on it! Or for some of you, the toy box full of toys that your children barely use or have grown out of? Please take the time to do a bit of "spring cleaning" if you will and donate household items, small furniture, clothes, anything that is gently used and collecting dust! You can choose to donate to any organization (or person if ou know someone in your community that is desperately in need) ranging from a homeless shelter, salvation army, charter school, or childcare facility. It's time to downsize and help build up the people that are less fortunate than us.
6. Challenge NUMBER SIX is as follows: This is probably the easiest task of all... everyone goes through a rough patch and just when they think things arent going to get any better- you came along. Ask someone how they are doing and genuinely mean it. Listen to them if they want to talk. You could be saving them from themselves. Call that old friend you had a falling out with & try to make things right. Tomorrow, you may not have the chance to. Consider this challenge not only for others, but for yourself.
