Austin Fashion Awards

On Saturday, August 18th, the Austin Fashion Awards presented by The CW Austin and hosted by Sandy McIlree of mix 94.7 will take place at the Austin Music Hall. On Saturday, August 18th, the Austin Fashion Awards presented by The CW Austin and hosted by Sandy McIlree of mix 94.7 will take place at the Austin Music Hall. The event will feature runway shows from Kendra Scott, Jessica Ciarla, and Ross Bennett. Alongside the featured designers, local Mash-Up Teams will be showing.

Austin-based jewelry designer Kendra Scott known for her vibrant, colorful pieces will be showing bold, couture jewelry created specifically for the Austin Fashion Awards runway show. Inspired by modern and futuristic materials, cutouts, origami and Asian prints, Jessica Ciarla will be showing her first ready to wear line featuring beautiful colors including hand painted jewel tone prints on silver lame. Ross Bennett will send a new collection of separates “The Harvest- the New Beginnings” down the runway. Full of color and prints along with classic tones, the collection was inspired by British tailoring along with the American Revolutionary spirit found in New York and Chicago in the 1930s to 1950s.

In addition to the featured runway collections with hair and make-up by the talented team at Jackson Ruiz Salon, this year's Austin Fashion Awards will also have music by pop violinist Josh Vietti.

Austin Fashion Week’s coveted Golden Boot Awards will be presented to new categories this year of Rising Stars, Trailblazers, and Mash-Up Teams.
