Featuring:
Terrence Parker -
Detroit has been credited as one of the Soul Music capitals of the world, spawning legendary
artists like The Four Tops, Marvin Gaye and Diana Ross just to name a few. In the mid 1980s, Detroit's Underground Music Movement has brought rise to artists such as Derrick May, Juan Atkins, Carl Craig, Kevin Saunderson, Blake Baxter, Eddie "Flashin" Fowlkes, UR, Jeff Mills, and a host of others. But unlike the aforesaid
names, Terrence Parker has established himself as a producer, remixer and DJ of the classic sound of Detroit House Music, and is known as a pioneer of the Inspirational / Gospel House movement!
As a DJ, Terrence Parker (known to many as "TP") has become legendary for his quite uncommon yet skillful turntablism style of playing House Music. TP has also become widely admired because he uses an actual telephone handset as headphones; causing some to give him the nick name, "Telephone Man". Others call him the "Telephone Man" because he has answered the CALL to bring us music to feed our souls! TP has performed as a DJ in hundreds of cities throughout the world. These events range from night clubs (large and small) to music festivals with more that 100,000 people.
Since 1988, TP has released more than 100 recordings on various labels, and has had top 20 hits with his songs "Love's Got Me High", "The Question" and albums like "Detroit After Dark" in the U.K., The Netherlands,
Germany, and France. Terrence's high quality of music productions, remixes, and DJ skill has been recognized by organizations such as the Detroit Historical Museum's History of Techno International
Exhibit, and Indiana State University's Department Of African American Music And Culture. TP's collective musical works and pioneering efforts have been recognized as a valuable
contribution to Detroit's music history, as well as the International History Dance Music.

Donald Joseph -
First introduced to Detroit’s underground electronic music scene in 1998, Donald fell in love with the music and culture. He has since been a DJ and producer of many genres. Having recently spent three years in Los Angeles, CA touring and producing with various artists, he found his way back to Detroit-
“When I lived in LA I sampled all that the LA electronic music scene had to offer. It’s a great place and I love the scene, but only Detroit has the grit that I love. That’s why I’m back. I want to be a part of it.”
Donald Joseph is a pioneer and respected electronic music producer and DJ. He is known for bringing original and creative technicality to his work. His productions contain carefully detailed synthesis, intricate-yet-simplistic rhythms, soulful melodies, melodic bass and innovative sampling techniques. It’s also worth mentioning that Donald’s live performances are something to experience. You will never catch him standing still behind the decks. His energy and music is guaranteed to keep the people moving.

Jesse James -
The last decade has seen the rise and fall of many faces in the electronic music scene. The last ten years for Jesse James however has been nothing but a steady rise to the top. Starting his DJ career in 2000, Jesse has become one of the mid-west’s most in demand DJ’s. Starting Nightsneak Entertainment with his cousin James in 2005, the two have built Nightsneak into the mid-west’s largest underground production company, throwing events where the crowds reach numbers of over 3000 party goers. With a hectic DJ schedule which frequently includes gigs in Chicago, New York, Louisville, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Salt Lake City, Cincinnati, Cleveland, and many more, Jesse still finds time to hit the studio. His production explores the darker side of quirky Techno, with smooth heavy bass lines and intricate synth patterns that are reminiscent of the sounds of an industrial factory. Having played along side John Aquaviva, Rob Hood, Green Velvet, DJ Bone, Marco Bailey, Tech Itch, Bassnectar, Bad Boy Bill and many many others, Jesse has shown what it means to grow and persevere in this industry. Contact info@nightsneak.com for booking info.
Dystopian Rhythm-
Dystopian Rhythm was conceived by Detroit techno artists Garrett Dillon and Margin Walker as a means of combining their differing styles of hard techno and showcasing their recently launched record label. By combining the more aggressive, punishing style Dillon represents with Margin Walker's deeper, more cerebral sound they seek to take techno to a new place that fits their namesake - a simultaneously danceable and headbanging groove that stands out amidst their contemporaries. Expect to hear some of the best underground techno, exclusive new label tracks, and original productions tweaked, twisted, and re-assembled into an all new sonic palate.

Gusto -
Augustus Williams, aka DJ Gusto, may not have had the most ideal childhood, but his story is a positive one with a promising future. Gusto has memories of his father listening to Marvin Gaye and old Motown records, but the music that spoke to him first was Hip Hop. By Junior High Gusto was spending much of his time listening to the radio, and taping shows of WJLB, this is where he first learned of artists like DJ Godfather, and DJ Assault. When he attended his first party in 1996 he did not yet know what Techno was, but validates that this was the event that would evidently shape the rest of his life.
From that point on Gusto’s interest in music grew into a passion, and that passion drove him to become a part of the music. He began DJing, focusing on electronic music evolving from his first love of Hip Hop, Electro, and Drum N’ Bass. At the age of 19 Gusto learned about “The Belleville Three” and found him self completely drawn to Techno. He started to play frequently at house parties, and at one of these parties he met a fellow DJ, Jesse James, and the two of them soon became close friends. This meeting and newly established friendship would provide Gusto with an opportunity to shine in his future, Jesse James and cousin James Woods would later become responsible for the “Nightsneak” parties, and Gusto soon became a local favorite.
Since then he has had the opportunity to perform alongside artists such as; James Pennington, Mike Dearborn, Terrence Parker, Green Velvet, Frankie Bones and DJ Assault. After years of spinning records Gusto began to direct his energy through drum machines and sequencers, often combining those efforts for a no less than impressive show. Playing mostly live shows for the better part of the last 7 years, people often forget he started out as a DJ. In the studio his tracks are made with the DJ and the dance floor in mind, and he spends much of his time developing his own style. Years of determination posed yet another opportunity for him when Twonz the owner of Hijacked Records asked him to join the family. The rest is not history, but the future.

Mizz Chavez -
It began about 9 years ago.Theresa Chavez was just starting to learn how to spin records. She did it for fun at first and before she knew it, really fell in love with mixing. Theresa started off playing at friends house parties, then got gigs at local venues in Saginaw, Bay City. Yes, she learned to spin in Saginaw. About 7 years ago, she decided to move down to the Detroit area. She knew there wasn't room to grow in Saginaw, plus no real scene for "electronic music." As soon as she moved down here, she began to go to shows, meet people, and network. Before she knew it ,she befriended Bob, who ran IPMradio, an internet radio station and became a regular on the show. Through IPM she met more people and started getting booked for shows throughout the Detroit area. Theresa threw her own party called "Vinyl Vixens" In 2005. It was an all female DJ line-up. Going by the name Mizz Chavez, she's opened for such names as Terrence Parker Aux 88, Terry Mullen, Paul Johnson, Gene Farris, Adam X. She's played alongside many talented locals Minx, John Johr, DJ Psycho,Jeff Woodward, and so many more. She also played a number of shows out on the west side of the state and shows in Ohio.Mizz Chavez looks forward to producing this year and continuing to perfect my craft of mixing. Music is one of her true passions in this life. She absolutely loves mixing, blending, manipulating the music. Stay tuned for what's coming up next!!!!!!!!!
