Rocketnumbernine, a drum-heavy, intense electronica duo from right here in sunny Walthamstow, will make you very happy. Their debut EP 'Lone Raver' came out on Soul Jazz last year, earning plaudits and acclaim from the likes of Gilles Peterson. Since then, they've been significantly improving festival line-ups all over Europe, and have been working with Kieran Hebden of Fourtet fame, a collaboration that saw them share a stage with Radiohead at New York's Roseland Ballroom last autumn.

Firestations are a dream-pop / alt-folk band, influenced by the likes of pop dreamers Beach House, Movietone, Sparklehorse, and melancholic troubadours Davy Graham and Elliott Smith. Electric and acoustic guitars intertwine and melt into a bed of shimmering electronica, with vocal harmonies floating above the noise.
