As is the jQuery Boston Meetup Tradition (TM), instead of one speaker getting up and talking for an hour, we want you, jQuery Boston Meetup members, to each get up and talk for five minutes. If you've been working on a really cool project, have a new jQuery plugin, figured our how to do something nobody else knows how to do, or just want to talk about JavaScript syntax for five minutes, tell us all about it!
Please, only JavaScript- or jQuery-related talks!
Everyone is invited to talk, just RSVP with your talk idea if you're interested. Feel free to post and discuss five minute talk topics in the comments. We'll have 7 slots in which people can speak.
So far, we have these talks scheduled:
Ben Alman - TBD
Liam Morley -Â Upgrading a Rails 2/legacy jQuery app to a Rails 3/Backbone.js/Twitter Bootstrap app
Kirk Israel - Low lag HTML5 audio best practices
Andrew Bialecki - Bootstrapping pages via the HTML5/jQuery "data" attribute
