The Olympics are kicking off, and we’re cheering for Team USA, but there is an even bigger race ahead of us – the 2012 election.

Bringing home the proverbial gold medal in November is going to take tremendous hustle on our part, but it’s nothing we can’t handle.

We’ll not only tell you about how you can get involved and make a difference, but we’ll show you, too. We’ll be hosting a live phone bank demo and even let you try your hand at helping making quick and easy phone calls for Illinois candidates. There will be FREE BEER, snacks and we’ll announce our phone bank competition with more than $1,500 in prizes.

And to keep in the Olympic spirit, we’ll host some games of our own as we continue our “Talk the Talk” series. We’ll help you win the battle of ideas, quips and facts in your everyday conversations with the lefties in your life.
