Sasona's Birthday Bash!

Come and be merry with us as we celebrate Sasona Co-op's tenth birthday. A bunch of 20-something's bought a house back in 2002 with the idea of giving Austin an outlet for non-student co-opers and somehow it worked. If you've ever lived in and/or loved on Sasona House, we want to celebrate this amazing place's success and history with you!

6:00 ---- Happy hour/settin' round the art shed, maybe some bocce ball
7:00 ---- Potluck Dinner
8:30 ---- Funniest Sasona memory story-telling contest, non-competitive meaningful memory sharing, MC'd by Thad.

Afterwards...Partytiiiime ja!

When the time is right the birthday ritual will be read by the oldest and youngest members of the house and of course there will be ritual dismemberment and consumption of the Bread Man. Gluten-free and vegan Bread Man alternatives will be available.

We'll be cooking dinner, but please bring a potluck dish to share.
Bring photos, booze, yard games, musical instruments, spoken word pieces, etc.

This is a "co-operative", collaborative event. The festivities we've laid our are only intended as a jumping off point. If you want to bring your best funk playlist and lay down the grooves as DJ, bring it on! If you want to arm the party with water pistols and stage a war zone (as long as fair warning's given), awesome! Surprise us!

NOTE: Let's do our darndest to not piss off our neighbors. Please park at least a block away, past La Casa and Paramount, and not on La Casa in front of the two properties that border us. Thankee kindly.
