South Florida Interactive Marketing Association (SFIMA), the Florida Direct Marketing Association (FDMA), the American Marketing Association - South Florida Chapter (AMA), the Social Media Club South Florida (SMCSF), the Social Media Club Palm Beach County (SMCPBC) and the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Palm Beach are joining forces to host this August 16th event at the Norton Museum.
The Norton will host an optional guided tour of the museum before our event at 4:30pm; and there will be a concurrent event called Art After Dark that night. A Grateful Dead cover band will be playing and we will join the other event following the panel and Q&A. Come one, come all to this exciting joint event with South Florida's top marketing organizations!

As CEO of the successful brand management firm, TURKEL (http://turkelbrands.com), Bruce has been creating and working with valuable brands for over 25 years.
Born and raised in Miami, Bruce studied design at the University of Florida and rushed to NYC to start his career. Preferring the sun to the subway, he returned to Miami and opened his own advertising agency built on the belief that marketing should be well-designed, simple and should make a client’s products and services more valuable. Using this straightforward checklist, Bruce has worked with hundreds of clients, written thousands of headlines, and designed even more print ads, television spots, websites and campaigns.
In addition to all that, Bruce is a husband, father of two, avid harmonica player and author of four books (his most recent title is Building Brand Value

► Romero Britto - Artist as Agent for Positive Change,

Romero Britto is a Brazilian artist whose vibrant work combines influences from cubism with pop to create a vibrant and iconic style that The New York Times describes, “exudes warmth, optimism and love.” In 1988, Britto relocated to Miami and emerged as an international artist, selected alongside Andy Warhol and Keith Haring for Absolut Vodka’s “Absolut Art” campaign. Britto’s work has since been exhibited in over 100 countries, including the Salon Nationale des Beaux-Arts exhibition at the Carrousel du Louvre, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Shanghai, Museo da Imagem e do Som Sao Paulo, Brazil, and many others, His work can also be found in the collections of California Museum of Art Oakland, Miami Children’s Museum, and numerous private collections. He has also created public art installations for the O2 Dome (Berlin), Hyde Park (London), John F. Kennedy Airport (New York), and Cirque du Soleil at Super Bowl XLI. His colorful children’s books and calendars have been published with Simon & Schuster and Rizzoli.
He serves as a benefactor, donating time, art and resources to over 250 charitable organizations and several boards such as Best Buddies International, and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. He was recently named a founding inaugural benefactor of Harvard’s “International Negotiation Program," by Dr. Daniel Shapiro, in his quest for peaceful conflict resolution. Britto has also spoken at the World Economic Forum in Davos, and at countless schools and institutions. In early 2011 the President of Brazil, Dilma Rousseff, invited Britto to create the logo for Rede Cegonha, a project to reach over 61 million pre and post-natal mothers and babies.

Andy Sutton is responsible for ensuring that products are useful, easy to use and visually appealing. Andy has more than 13 years of experience in the software industry, providing technical communication, user research, business process optimization, user interface design and usability evaluation services in both full-time and consulting roles.
Prior to joining e-Builder, Andy built and led the first User Experience team for the Nielsen Company, the global leader in audience measurement and information. He also provided services to Bank of America, Idea Interactive, Christus Hospital System and CSX.
Andy earned his undergraduate degree in Communications from the University of Florida and his Masters Degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.

Alona is a designer, branding/trend commentator, writer and speaker. She owns an award-winning digital brand consultancy, 321 Takeoff, and a surface design firm, Far From Timid. She writes a blog for The Huffington Post called Best/Worst Brands of the Week and talks about branding on Fox's Strategy Room and around the country at venues like SXSW. She is known to her readers as The Iconomist (http://alonaelkayam.com).
In 2003, Alona Fromberg-Elkayam founded 321 Takeoff (@321takeoff), a NYC-based strategic branding and design consultancy. Her core competency is crafting an authentic stories and executing those stories across multiple platforms, from online and mobile experiences to corporate identity. She has rebranded malnutrition for Doctors Without Borders; launched New York’s first gay resort, THE OUT; and created global brands for companies like Reed Elsevier. 321 Takeoff has won awards at The National Press Club, The Webby Awards and The One Club. Her company, Far From Timid, was founded in 2008 and licenses hundreds of patterns to manufacturers and private label retailers in home, fashion and hospitality.
Prior to going out on her own, she held senior positions at SBIRazorfish building brands for Goldman Sachs and Mattel, and at Grey Healthcare Group where she built up their interactive practice and served as the creative co-lead on the worldwide Levitra® and BotoxCosmetic® product launches. Alona is a devoted student of kung fu, an ING NYC Marathon finisher and an accomplished painter. She received her BA from American University and continued her education at the School of Visual Arts and NYU. She is also fluent in Hebrew and French.
