On Friday, August 10th we all come together and help raise money for our friend, artist and photographer, Hal Samples.

Unfortunately, this Deep Ellum community contributor has fallen on some hard times in regards to his health. It seems that a medical procedure he had in the past is now causing him more health complications at this point.

Samples has been a big Deep Ellum advocate and has certainly helped out the community with all his events, art openings and showcases at "Space" in previous years. We feel it's time to give back,

It is in our best interest to help Hal raise money to assist in paying off some of his medical debt due to his illness. So, we got together and created a great lineup of some of his favorite bands and artists for this benefit. Here are the bands participating.

Various local artist's works will be on display for the silent auction. Most proceeds raised will benefit Mr. Hal Samples.
