After a mini-summer break, we're back for August and will be bringing the best of the creative industries together for some of the usual informal catching-up, presentations and banter over a drink.

We'll be hoping for no further interruptions from the Stone Roses this time and will be tweaking a couple of things behind the scenes.  So head over from 7pm for a drink or two and to catch the presentations from:

The long-awaited stage debut for Nik and Geoff from the mighty Design Project NW (http://www.thedesignproject.co.uk/), talking about all things graphic and design.

The guys from Sculpting with Light (www.sculptingwithlight.co.uk) are a recent addition and are joining us to talk about the stunning work they do with 3D, holographics, video, projection and literally everything else inbetween.

We'll be there from 7 for anyone looking to have a drink before the presentations.  For any new members, aim for the Palmyra and follow the signs when you get in.  It's a friendly crowd, so just come over and say hi!
