Looking for funding for your startup? Come meet with angel investors from the Central Texas Angel Network (recognized as one of the Top 5 most active angel networks in the US) and ask their advice about fundraising in 2012 and specifically about managing your way through CTAN's funding process. Who: Entrepreneurs and Central Texas Angel Network (CTAN) Investors What: CTAN Office Hours. This event is open to any entrepreneur that would like to get feedback and advice from active investors. Each angel investor will sit at a different table, and each entrepreneur will typically have 5-10 minutes 1-on-1 with as many investors as you can speak with in a 2-hour period. Please RSVP so that we can invite enough investors and minimize the time entrepreneurs will have to wait. Why: The purpose of this event is to allow entrepreneurs to interact with active investors and get on their radar. A typical question that comes from entrepreneurs at this event is "So, I'm considering applying (or I've already applied) to CTAN. Can you give me some advice concerning things to address/not address in my application and throughout the process to give me the best chance at funding?" Another question has been "I could really use some help with ____. Can you recommend some places to get this help?" The investors in attendance are willing to give advice and to point you to someone that may be able to help if they can't directly. The idea is to increase the visibility and accessibility of CTAN investors to Austin's entrepreneurs, and entrepreneurs should take this as their chance to leverage the resources (other than capital) that CTAN investors may be willing to provide to help their company succeed.
