Por favor acompáñennos en la Reunión General de Enfoque en la Cadena Alimenticia (Focus on the Food Chain), que tendrá lugar el domingo 12 de Agosto. Estamos ocupados preparando para conectarnos con nuevos trabajadores y ayudar a organizar para obtener mejores condiciones laborales en las fábricas de alimentos en la ciudad de Nueva York, y hay muchas oportunidades para que usted pueda ayudar en estos esfuerzos. Además, en la Reunión General de Agosto vamos a oír sobre cómo la política de acción diferida de Obama afecta a los trabajadores inmigrantes y sus familias.

La Reunión General es nuestro tiempo para congregarnos, compartir ideas, y construir solidaridad para la lucha del mes que viene. ¡Como siempre, después de la reunión tendremos comida y bebida abundante!

Dear Focus Friends,

Please join us for the Focus on the Food Chain August General Meeting, Sunday August 12th. We are busy gearing up to connect with new workers to help organize for better jobs in NYC's food sweatshops and there are many opportunities for you to help in these efforts. Also at the August General Meeting we will hear about how Obama's deferred action policy impacts immigrant workers and their families.

The general meeting is our time to all come together, share ideas, and build solidarity for the fight in the month ahead. As always, plentiful food and drink after the meeting!
