Behind the Scenes at Hatbox! An Official AFW Showcase Event

From 5-7 PM, the spotlight will be on the extensive collection of Ecuadorian hand-woven Panama straws for the gents, with hatter Jimmy Pierce on-hand for expert fittings and hat advice.

From 6-8 PM, we will be showcasing the latest collection of cocktail hats and fascinators by Laura Del Villaggio of Milli Starr. The milliner will be in-store to talk about her new collection "Firebird" and the inspiration, materials and techniques of its creation. The rich color palette, subtle sparkle, and wispy feathers are festive and flirty, perfect for a holiday soiree or special occasion.

Come visit a Modern Haberdashery at the beautiful Domain, meet a hatter and a milliner, and find the perfect hat!

This is a FREE event, one of many official Austin Fashion Week events happening at the Domain on Tuesday, August 14th. Laura Del Villaggio is honored to have received a nomination for the AFW "Trailblazer" Award. Golden Boots will be presented to Trailblazer and Rising Star winners at the Austin Fashion Awards on Saturday, August 18th at 7:30 PM.
