Unhosted is a movement to free people from the web’s monopolies. Personal documents are decoupled from client-side web apps, synced and portable through the open remoteStorage protocol, which combines Webfinger, OAuth, CORS and GET, PUT, DELETE on any key-value store. It enables developers to easily plug in a backend for users and storage which is per-user and decentralized. Users have their documents & identity at a provider they trust, in control of their data, and don’t need new accounts for every service anymore.

Harald Rudell will present webfiller and tagfinder

Webfiller and tagfinder are two node.js modules that inserts data, styling and attributes into pure html5 text prior to adding the markup to the page. Dave Edelhart will present Rapid Application Development with Nuby Express

Nuby Express extends Express and a host of supplemental libraries to provide an extensible, maintainable, testable framework for rapid development in Node. Incorporating the best learned lessons from frameworks such as Zend, Drupal, Express, and Rails, Nuby Express is an OS project designed to enable Node newcomers to ease their way into large project creation and maintenance. Nuby is designed to ba a "glue" framework for frontend frameworks like Angular and Backbone, and comes with extensive templating and monitoring tools to promote introspection into framework-wide resources.
