Outdoor Afro x Red Bike & Green - Chicago

For some, August means the beginning of the end... of summer.

For people of African descent, the Black August movement can provide a time of reflection and re-dedication to individual & collective freedom.

This ‘feast’ is all about community!
Please bring your joy, enthusiasm, and a dish to share (for 8-10 people) .

We’ll have a grill for vegetarians & another for omnivores.

Here are some FOOD IDEAS:
Beef/Turkey burgers (+ buns)
Beef/Turkey Hot dogs (+ buns)
Pre-marinated chicken

Salads: Potato, Pasta, Fruit
Grill-happy Veggies: Corn, Potatoes, Asparagus, Mushrooms, Eggplant, Onions, Peppers

++ Let’s try to be eco-friendly! If you can remember, bring your own non-disposable cup, plate, & utensils so we can cut down on waste.
