Registration

Thereafter, will be a $5.00 late registration fee and there is no guarantee that you will receive an event shirt and/or swag bag. NO CHANGES CAN BE MADE TO REGISTRATION AFTER AUGUST 18TH, 2012.

Packet Pick Up
Your packet will include your bib, timing chip, information from sponsors, and swag for local businesses and a race t-shirt. Early packet pickup will be Friday August 24th at Kings Harbor from 11:00am to 7:00pm. If necessary, participants can arrive early on race day to pick up their packet (before 7:00 am). Please make every effort to pick up your packet before Race Day. Packet pick up will be CLOSED at 7:15 am.

Timing Chips
Timing Chips All participants will be electronically timed using a ChronoTrack - D disposable chip placed on the back of your race bib. Participants finishing times will be available at the finish line area immediately after the race and Live Results can be viewed at http://runhoustontiming.net/site.results?id=31. Timing Chip's will be included in your Race Packet.(Race course will close at 9:15am. All participants must be finished by this time)

Awards
An award ceremony will follow the run with a prize of $500 awarded to the overall top male and female runners in the 10k race and $250 awarded to the top male and female in the 5k race. Non-cash awards will also be presented to first, second, and third place finishers in the following categories: 18 & under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over.

Event Pictures
PR Photo is proud to be a part of the 2012 Lake Houston 5K & 10K. This year's photos will be available within 3 days after the event sorted by BIB#. http://www.prphotoshots.com/Carl Bergman with Bergman Photography will be taking professional pictures of all participants throughout the race and after party. They will organize your pictures on their website and you will be able to review and purchase pictures if you would like. Be sure that your race bib is visible at all times on the course!

Parking
Event Parking is available in the parking garage at the Kings Harbor complex, on side streets next to King’s Harbor and the Humble ISD Instructional Support Center a ¼ mile north of King’s Harbor on Magnolia Cove Drive. Please do not park at businesses along W. Lake Houston or in front of any residences and condos. Also, expect traffic and please plan to arrive early, due to road closure beginning at 6:30am
