xKore (Kent, UK)

xKore (Matt Cavender) is an 18 year old dubstep/drumstep producer based in Kent, in the South-East of the UK.
He first started out 4 years ago producing house and progressive trance. However his style eventually evolved into what it is today, a blend of dubstep, drumstep, electro, drum and bass aswell as other styles of bass music.
House and trance acts such as Signalrunners, Spencer & Hill and Klaas were some of his early influences, and what got him into electronic dance music. Through experimentation and influence from popular bands such as Pendulum and Noisia, xKore developed a more bass orientated style. Stylistically, xKore likes to have influences that are outside of EDM, such as Yoko Kanno and Harry Gregson-Williams. He views film and game soundtracks as a great source of inspiration. His setup is mostly software based. He uses FL Studio 10 as a DAW and NI Massive, NI Kontakt and 3xOsc as his main tools of production. xKore is being seen as an up and coming talent within the dubstep community, being supported by artists such as Skream, Benga, Knife Party, Camo & Krooked, Borgore many others

KJ Sawka plays some of the rawest drums around. And that's before he adds electronics. On an acoustic drumset he creates the whirs, delays, effects, and sonic dislocations of electronic music. Adding an arsenal of devices further broadens his palette, providing an atmospheric bed for his extremely visceral drumming. "I really try to re-create the drum machine beats of electronic music with an acoustic drumset, simultaneously triggering the actual snare, kick, and hi-hat sounds," Sawka explains from London. Dara co-founded the nation's first & largest drum 'n bass record store, Breakbeat Science, in NYC which doubles as his own imprint, Breakbeat Science Recordings. Alfonz De La Mota (Chicago, Illinois)

His name is synonymous with Chicago drum n bass and one of Americas largest drum n bass music groups the M.I.A. (murda In america) with over 50+ members all over the country. In the early 90's Alfonz got his start djing and putting on small events and after-hours in Chicago. In 1998 he attempted his 1st event called "Higher" featuring a diverse line up of drum n bass and techno in a warehouse on the south side of Chicago and soon after he helped establish "boogie tribe" which would later become one of the biggest edm promoters in the midwest and among the top 5 promotion companies in Chicago. Over the years Alfonz has played well over 25 cities in over 20 states both headlining and along side some of the worlds top electronic music producers and djs. His drive to push drum n bass has taken him to several musical places including a live dnb band called "soljazz", a drum step group "highSociety". Gio Garcia better known as Erok69 is a Chicago based deejay/producer. Mixing the best in bass music, he draws quite the diverse crowd. Erok69 is one of the most original south side deejays on the scene. He seamlessly pushes the limits when it comes to creative blends.
