احنة نريد ان نكون ملهمين . و نساعدكم بنشر و توسيع قصصكم عن طريق اعطائكم القصة المصورة و مساعدتكم بنشرهة الى الالاف من الناس ببداية اكتوبر!.
اذا عدكم اي سؤال رجاءا ضيفو بتعليق على هذه الصفحة.
خلال العشرين سنه الي مضت ,مرالوطن العربي بهواية تطورات سواء كانت برعاية الحكومات او بدونهة . مع هذا دائما نشوف نوع من الجمود بتنفيذ المشاريع . و اغلب التمويل يتعرقل بالشبكات البيروقراطية المعقدة و الاولويات توضع بغير محلهة.
مع هذا , احنة نعرف انو العقل و النفس المستقلين من زمان كانت مثل محرك للمنطقة . رغباتهة المبتكرة كانت تعمل من زمان. صنعتلنة و اكتشفتلنة هواية اشياء مثل الصفر الجبري و عجلة بلاد ما بين النهرين – و مفاهيم هواية ما تتقدر بثمن احنة نستخدمهة الى هسة بحياتنا اليومية . مفكرين, صانعين , عاملين , وحتى حالمين دائما بنطونة امل باليوم و بدون شك امل بالمستقبل.
احنة نريد نسمع منكم قصصكم . شلون مشاريع بدت بمحيطكم و تحولت الى حلول حقيقة؟ قصصكم , شلون بايجابية و فعالية اثرتو بمجتمعكم؟ ,قصص مشاركاتكم و شجاعتكم – بس نريد القصص كاملة بدون تحوير او اختصار .و شنو الاخطار و التحديات الي واجهتكم من ردتو تطبقون افكاركم فعليا على محيطكم؟.
مسابقة راح تنطلق على امل انو رواياتكم تكون بدايات لغيركم.
مشاركتكم باعمالكم و تحدياتكم و قصصكم شلون تحولت الى افكار راح تساعد كل حالم . و راح تساعد انو افكار مفكرين و عباقرة الوطن العربي تنتشر بكل مكان بالعالم.

The solutions to Iraq's problems are already in Iraq. This is a competition to help the incredible citizens of Baghdad to share stories of ingenuity and initiative in service to their communities. GEMSI wants to help those beautiful people share their stories and we are offering to illustrate them as beautiful comics!
You have until September 22 to share your stories with us.
You have three ways to share them with us

We want to be inspired. To help you share and expand your projects we will give you a comic drawn of your story and a platform to share your story with over a thousand people this October.

For the past twenty years, the Arab world has been undergoing major development – sponsored by governments and non-profits alike. Yet, we continuously see a gridlock in the execution of projects: much funding is held up in ever-tangled bureaucratic webs, and priorities seem to be constantly misplaced.
Yet, we know that it is the independent mind and spirit that has long acted as the region’s engine. Its innovative will has been at work since ancient times, bringing us the algebraic zero and the Mesopotamian wheel – invaluable concepts that run our everyday lives today. Makers, shapers, thinkers - dreamers and doers, they offer hope for a better today and undoubtedly, a better tomorrow.
We want to hear your stories of how the projects started in your garage playground are transformed into real solutions. Stories of actively and positively impacting the community around you, stories of engagement and courage. But we want the full story – unfiltered, untainted and unencumbered: what types of challenges did you encounter in trying to apply your ideas to the world around you?
A competition will be held in hopes of turning your Rawaya [story] into someone else’s Bidaya [beginning].
Sharing your challenges turned into opportunities will help every dreamer, and keeping living records of the Arab world’s creative genius will allow your stories to inspire others around the world.

The competition will conclude with the top 10 posts illustrated as a comic and a live-streamed discussion from Baghdad to Hackerspcaes and other community spaces around the world.
