Startup the Conversation with Congress: A Panel & Startup Meet-Up
*Using groundbreaking new Google+ Hangout technology to interface with Washington, D.C.
Join U.S. Senate startup leadership to advise them on what entrepreneurs need. Entrepreneurship is one of the few issues seeing movement in Congress and legislators are introducing and passing bills that will directly affect the ability of startups to do business. If entrepreneurs don’t tell Congress what they need, startups will be locked out of a process that is moving forward, with or without you.
As part of Austin Startup Week, the Austin Chamber and sponsors Contract Gurus and Third Base invite you to learn about and advise Congress on their startup bills at “Startup the Conversation with Congress” on October 11 from 3-4 p.m. at the Omni Hotel. Attendees will also hear about simple ways you can impact federal startup policies going forward. A VIP reception/meet-up, sponsored by Third Base, will be held for attendees immediately following the panel from 4:00-5:00.
AGENDA:
Panel: 3:00pm - 4:00pm (Omni Hotel Capital Ballroom -2nd floor)
Startup Meet-Up: 4:00pm – 5:00pm (Capital Factory/Austin TechLive -16th floor)
STARTUP ISSUES
