gabriela avram I was wondering if there's anyone at LOCC who's driving to Kilkenny for the WordCamp Ireland this week-end and could give me a lift!

Bernard Goldbach I think a little stirring of the venues is a good idea but I have a timeline of 88 minutes between Clonmel and the Absolute Hotel and during the academic year, I don't want to use more than 90 minutes to get to the event.
James Corbett Ooh, as long as no-one goes walk-about it should be okay ;-)

Elaine Rogers I am sure he wont! - I suggested the Maldron Southill - don't kill me!! I don't know about wifi but it has free parking and the Bar is quite big :)

James Corbett @derryo aye, that's the fear. Although, between plancast, twitter, LinkedIn and so on there's little reason I think for anyone to be unaware of venue change.
I hope @topgold doesn't mind that I've now created a subgroup of the LinkedIn OpenCoffee Ireland group called Limerick OpenCoffee Club. I have specified that this subgroup is for Limerick focused discussion and all general conversation should be continued in the parent group. This should help us plan venue changes and send notifications, etc.

Derry O Donnell @Eirepreneur I think it's a good idea to change venue occasionally as it does indeed keep things fresh. It's surprising how a change of scenery can inspire new thoughts. The downside of course would be for anyone arriving at the old venue unaware it had changed. All the more reason to get on Plancast, I guess

James Corbett @gabig58 didn't suggest previously holding #LOCC in the Starbucks at UL for a change? I'd second that idea for a change. I also think we should try a few other venues out this year just to help keep things fresh. I've had a few meetings in the Strand lately and it strikes me as an ideal venue - loads of free underground parking, pleasant roomy bar area, open wifi and nice grub. What do others think?

gabriela avram Such a pity I have to teach every Thursday from 11 to 1!
I'd love to bring the students over at some point, but right now they have to give presentations... I'll try to join you around 1pm!
James Corbett Dagnabbit, I just found out that a group of Munster based alumni of Social Entrepeneurs Ireland are meeting in Cork at the exact same time as LOCC kicks off. Yeah, of all the hours in the month. Looks like it's going to be a coin toss....

James Corbett Care to have another wager on the attendance figures for this one? [checking to make sure I have @topgold in my 'owes me a pint' list]
