Hi everybody. If anyone happens to be in the Parksville area on the May 22nd weekend please come and join us for Owen’s 50th birthday party. We have just moved to a place next to the Little Qualicum River. Our address is 1020 Centre Crescent, Qualicum Beach. Our phone number is 250-752-6977. We love our new house even though it has a smaller yard than our last place. It does have however a peek a boo view of the ocean, a fantastic view of the river and the abundant birds that come to its mouth including eagles. People are quite welcome to grab a piece of floor or pitch a tent for sleeping or we also have quite a few camping resorts and motels within walking distance or short drive to our house. The closest is Cedar Grove RV Park www.cedargrovervpark.ca 250-752-2442. Cedargrove has agreed to give us a small corner that is closest to our place that we are free to have a sing song etc., with no problems. Next door to Cedar Grove is a childs dream camping or motelling with waterslides, minigolf, park, pooltable etc. It is called Riverside Resort Motel and Campground www.myriversideresort.com .If you go onto the Riverside Resort website they have a huge listing of different sights and activities to do on Vancouver Island. There is Shorewater Motel across the street from them which has an ocean view and kitchenettes in each suite. www.shorewaterresort.com 250-752-6901. We will be supplying burgers and hotdogs on Saturday night. If you can bring a salad or appy that would be great but don’t worry if it is too much hassle. We asked Vickie and Sean to send out invites to family on facebook as Owen and I are facebook challenged. We are making it our new year’s resolution to try and make ourselves more facebook literate this year. Anthony also will have info on his facebook if needed.
