Answers to some good questions....
1. How important is it that we register? What are the benefits (other than supporting clean-up and getting a t-shirt)? the main benefit I see in registering is avoiding any hassle by race officials or the cops.
2. Discount will be $42 vs. the $48 to register on your own
3. At the Americano, are you planning to eat or just drink?
We don't actually go inside americano, we'll be having a BYOB brunch on the sidewalk while we wait for everyone to congregate :) I usually buy stuff, but since I'm not collecting money this year, it's up to you what you want to bring!
4. What time are you planning on leaving the Americano to start the race?
8ish, but nothing in B2B is an exact science. When the crowd gets a move on, so will we.
5. We are planning to wear official golf attire - is that cool? Just want to make sure we coordinate with the group. :) Golf attire is perfect. Some of us are putting the course - if you have clubs adn some golf wiffle balls, i recommend bringing them. I picked up a set on craigslist that I'm selling for $5/club - let me know if you want in!
