A playwright and intellectual, now only able to find work in a brewery because of his involvement with political dissidents, is called into his foreman’s office for a friendly beer and a sobering conversation. In the first full production for the San Francisco Theater Pub, Bennett Fisher directs Paul Stout and Nathan Tucker in Vaclav Havel’s comic one act Audience, a wry masterpiece that tests the limits of empathy, friendship, and drinking tolerance. Staged in round in the Café Royale bar with good beer on tap and no cover (only a suggested donation), how can you afford to miss it?
There are only 5 performances, so be sure and email
