The Haiti earthquake has resulted in one of the largest human disasters in recent memory. Unfortunately it has quickly fallen from public consciousness as the news cycle has moved on to 'newer' things. Together on April 22nd, we can gather to remember Haiti and further the rebuilding effort.
100% of the proceeds for the event will be donated to Architecture for Humanity (
http://architectureforhumanity.org).
Remember Haiti is a fun night for a serious cause. We'll have live music, food, DJ and a raffle with great prizes.

About Architecture for Humanity:

AFH is a non-profit, 501c organization with expertise in disaster reconstruction. AFH teams played a major role in the rebuilding efforts after the Asian Tsunami of 2004 and in New Orleans during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. By tapping a network of over 40,000 professionals willing to donate their time and expertise, AFH brings design, construction, and development services to areas in critical need.
AFH’s first team arrived in Port-au-Prince on March 1st and is focusing initially on reconstruction of community and civic structures. Special priority will be given to schools. AFH reports that 75% of schools in Port-au-Prince are either destroyed or too unsafe to function.
