Art-A-Whirl, presented by NEMAA (the Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association), is the largest open studio and gallery tour in the United States.

Now in its 15th year, Art-A-Whirl welcomes local and regional visitors to the Arts District and greater Northeast Minneapolis to view and buy art, and to meet the artists in their creative environments.

More than 500 artists participate in AAW, including potters, tile makers, painters, sculptors, musicians, photographers, glass blowers, print makers, textile designers, jewelers, and more. They showcase their art in warehouse studios, galleries, homes, storefronts and cafes.

A silent auction, featuring work by more than 100 artists, takes place at the third-floor public gallery of the Northrup King Building. Stop by during AAW and bid on an array of art and other donations.
